We are very pleased to announce that our shortbread (Susan’s shortbread) has won a silver award at this year’s Irish Food Awards.
It is the second time we have entered our shortbread. Since the last time the product has been improved which has helped make it a best seller at markets and events that we have taken part in over the last couple of years.
Susan commented: “It is an honour to make the finals but to actually win an award makes us very proud. We owe a great deal of thanks to many people who have helped along the way and given us so much support and advice. We will continue to strive to make quality products for everyone to enjoy.”
The Irish Food Awards is the biggest competition for quality Irish produce on the island of Ireland and has been recognising great food and drink through its awards for the last 15 years. Research has shown that the Irish Food Award accreditation has the highest recognition amongst Irish consumers.
